Age of Information

At my internship, I’m constantly attempting to make sense of the digital information landscape. The pace at which web development and social media and how they continually intertwine with marketing is simply fascinating. And while some critics may argue that mentally we’re being overwhelmed with too much information, we (as in GEN. Y) are able to process that information and communicate ideas. If you think about it, most of us grew up watching TV while listening to music while chatting on AOL and doing our homework. We witnessed traditional media transitioning into digital. Social networking has changed the way we maintain relationships. Can’t decide if it’s diminished human contact or facilitated communication.

I personally have always voraciously consumed information so this Age of Information is very much welcomed. What do you think?
